Refrigerated rentals — coming soon
We plan to list businesses that hire out refrigerated equipment: cool rooms (often written coolroom), including mobile cool rooms and cool room trailers, refrigerated vans and trucks, refrigerated trailers, reefer containers and portable freezers. No hire companies are listed yet. If you need temperature-controlled space for a short period now, you can search cold storage facilities that offer short-term storage.

Cold chain services FAQs
What cold chain services can I find on 3PL Hub?
Listings today cover refrigerated transport and cold storage. Transport covers local and interstate freight, couriers, part and full loads, multi-drop, hanging meat, pharma, express and e-commerce delivery. Storage covers chilled and frozen storage, cross-docking, pick & pack and blast freezing. Refrigerated rentals, such as cool room and refrigerated van hire, are coming soon and have no listings yet.
Can I hire a cool room or refrigerated van through 3PL Hub?
Not yet. Refrigerated hire is planned, but no hire companies are listed, so contact a hire business directly for cool room (coolroom), refrigerated van, truck or trailer hire. If you need temperature-controlled space for a short period, cold storage facilities that offer short-term storage may suit you; use the Short-term filter on the cold storage listing.
What is the difference between a freezer and a coolroom?
A coolroom, or cool room, is a walk-in refrigerated room that holds chilled temperatures above freezing, typically around 0–5 °C, for fresh food, drinks or flowers. A freezer room holds goods frozen, normally at −18 °C or colder. Some portable units can run as either. For storage at scale, cold stores offer chilled and frozen rooms; for events or short peaks, hire units are common.
